Research Assistant, AI for Physics Lab
Research Experience, 2025-2026, AI for Physics Lab, Westlake University, 2025
From 2025 to 2026, I worked as a Research Assistant in the AI for Physics Lab at Westlake University, advised by Xin Yuan and Fanglin Bao.
My role focused on the AI side of HADAR research, including algorithm development and lightweight deployment for practical thermal perception. I helped push HADAR-related methods toward more efficient, deployable systems while maintaining the physical interpretability of temperature, emissivity, and environmental texture representations.
This experience shaped my current research direction: lightweight thermal imaging and new visual perception paradigms based on physical scene properties.
